If you decide to visit for the first time, either alone, with your friend(s), or with your partner, there’s no need to fear that we will look at you strangely or judge you. We’re a Safe Zone.
The self-righteous, religious leaders accused Jesus of being “a friend of sinners” (Matthew 11:19; Luke 7:34). Why? It’s because Jesus must have always made the so-called “sinners” feel welcomed.
There is not one instance in Scripture where Jesus caused a seeker to feel like fleeing from His presence in fear or shame. Therefore, no one should ever feel afraid or ashamed to come through the doors of any church that claims to preach Jesus.
Jesus said, “The one who comes to Me, I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37, NKJV). We invite all who come in peace to join us “sinners” in getting to know the “Friend of Sinners” personally.
