Just to give you a brief history, Open Door Revival Center was founded in 1993.
For the first year, we gathered for worship on Sunday mornings at the GEM Theatre in Garden Grove, CA.
After leaving the Grove Theatre, we moved to Orange, CA. It is there that we worshiped together from 1994 to 1997 in a ballroom dance studio. (Seeing the prismatic colors of the disco ball reflecting on the walls and mirrors during worship was an unforgettable experience!)
In November of 1997, we moved to our present church building in Bellflower, CA.
We like to say that our “funky, boxy building” doesn’t look like a traditional church, and if, in the past, you’ve been hurt in a church, it won’t feel like one either!
A church where Jesus is present should be one of the most comfortable places in the world to be. We invite you to come and experience the presence of His Spirit as we worship together in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
